"...I wish to tell you that with the DC-9005
our SPC technician now has the ability to monitor and report on issues
regarding process characteristics with supporting data for evidence
with extreme speed. In the past this was a three step process requiring
around a half hour of her time; the time is now cut by more than two
thirds.
Our production operators are
pleased with the device because they no longer have to worry about
remembering to do their X bar and R charts or how to properly interpret
them. They now rely on the SPC technician and the DC-9005 to inform them of a problem.
